REBORN Coordinator Meets NABIHEAL Team

The team of NABIHEAL coordinator ICMAB-CSIC were honored to have the opportunity to meet with Prof. Chiara Vitale Brovarone, coordinator of our “sister” project REBORN, at their office in Barcelona in May 2025.

REBORN and NABIHEAL responded to the same Horizon Europe call to develop multifunctional biomaterials to address and mitigate multiple bottlenecks in response to unmet clinical needs. The REBORN project will aim to use smart and multifunctional biomaterials to deliver a new medical device in the form of a cardiac patch, to be applied to the heart in order to stimulate and support local heart tissue remodelling.
